Study: Lots Of 3D Movies, But Maybe Over-Saturation?

More than 40 3-D movies are already scheduled for release this year and – in what might be news to some film producers – there’s no shortage of money to make them, says the study from PricewaterhouseCoopers.The study, however, notes that more than 50 percent of box-office revenue is generated by 3-D, which “has helped the entire industry to increase its revenues despite a declining number of tickets sold.”
